Recently, Cars.com announced the "Best of 2012" nominees, and the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque was deservingly among the final 6 nominated vehicles ranging from sedans to coupes to compact SUVs like the Evoque. These are the best of the best.
This most prestigious nomination truly separates the most innovative, efficient, safe and stylish vehicles from the rest of the pack. I mean out of every car make in the world, the brand new Evoque made the top 6, pretty impressive for the Land Rover rookie of the year.
"Above all, our Best of the Year awards celebrate value, innovation and competitiveness in the auto industry," said Patrick Olsen, Cars.com editor in chief. "The level of innovation among our nominees ranges from being truly unique to shaking up an entire segment of cars."
The Evoque has shaken up the big, powerful Land Rover persona by becoming the smallest and most fuel efficient to join their all-terrain family. Car.com noted, "Any vehicle that looks like nothing the Cars.com team has ever seen before is sure to make an impression, and the Evoque made a great one. Its looks aren't the only reason it made the list: The Evoque has a more comfortable ride than others in its class, a competitive base price and plenty of power."
In today's competitive automaker world everyone is trying to make the most efficient, powerful, practical and good looking vehicle on the road. But these top 6, and especially the Evoque lead the way. "Picking a winner from this elite group was difficult," Olsen said. "Despite its stiff competition, we feel confident that our selection represents the best on the road today."
Land Rover Orlando 2012 Evoque has been a popular new vehicle since its debut, bringing in a new generation of fuel-conscious consumers. The Evoque may not have all the bells and whistles as the Range Rover, but it can sure handle weather, dirt roads, and your morning commute. Land Rover dealers are thrilled with the Car.com nomination.
