Since January of 2016, the iconic Land Rover Defender hasn’t been produced. However, the lack of production has actually made the Land Rover Defender even more popular. Here at Land Rover Orlando, we’ve been covering the reintroduction of the Land Rover Defender roughly since it went off the market.

For the last year or so, the automaker has been promising and teasing the return of the iconic rough and rugged SUV. Now, we’re officially getting a 2020 Land Rover Defender. The only downside so far, we haven’t really seen much of the vehicle. We know certain specs and features, but we don’t know all that much about it. Luckily, we’ve recently learned more.

Land Rover automakers recently gave us an official look of the new off-road SUV in a single teaser photo, ahead of its scheduled debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

The only downside of the teaser photo? We only get to see a muddy front grille with the iconic “Defender” badge across the top of the picture. The reason for the mud is simple. The 2020 Lad Rover Defender is meant to get dirty by going off-road and exploring.

There’s a lot to glean from the teaser photo. It appears that the “Defender” badge sits right where the hood begins. The top grille is simple; it’s one rectangular air vent bearing the “Land Rover” badge. It almost gives the upcoming Land Rover Defender a look that the automaker has gone away from. Its boxier than other models like the 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque.

The new Land Rover Defender officially debuts September 10th. We’ll be sure to update you with all the best details as we learn more. For now, visit our Orlando Land Rover dealership today for all your needs.
