One of the community investments we're most proud of at our dealership is the Fields Auto Group's Recommend-A-Charity promotion, in which we've pledged to donate $50,000 to the favorite charities of our valued customers. Want your charity to be on the receiving end? Simply "like" us on Facebook or "+1" us on Google+ and leave a comment about why your favorite charity deserves a donation. By spreading the word about how this organization has touched your life, you'll raise awareness among our social media communities and have the opportunity to raise serious funds for a great cause! The Fields Auto Group will donate in increments: $10,000 for one charity, $5,000 for two charities, $1,000 for 20 charities and $500 for 20 more charities.

 

In addition to the Recommend-A-Charity promotion, Land Rover Orlando has been involved with a variety of non-profit organizations through our association with Fields Auto Group, which has been the title sponsor for various March of Dimes events to help fund lifesaving research and programs for ending premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. Our group has also invested in the Luol Deng - Chicago Housing Authoirty Holiday Toy Drive, as well as the Kohl Children's Museum and the new Hope for Kids Program of Central Florida. And that's just a few of dozens of charities our Land Rover dealership has helped benefit as part of the Fields Auto Group!

 

Fortunately, we've been able to learn from the best, since Land Rover is so dedicated to giving back through charitable initiatives like its Global Corporate Social Responsibility program, launched in 2013 to create opportunities for people around the world. Building on many years of work with key Land Rover partners like the Born Free Foundation and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the program helps support projects that deliver long-term change both locally and around the world. These include everything from providing mosquito nets to thousands of people in rural South Africa in order to fight malaria rates, to transforming young people's passion for technology into career opportunities through the "Inspiring Tomorrow's Engineers" program.
